Total 90 statement top

The Total 90 statement top was a centrepiece garment designed within the full T90 collection package for Inline and Federation training collections. These collections were worn by Nike sponsored teams at the UEFA Euro 2008™ football championships. This innovative top housed functional engineered graphics within the performance attributes of the shirt. The main graphic was a full 360°design, constructed as a breathable jacquard on a completely seamless body which made this a high performance and market leading garment, recognised as the first in the category of football. The 90 logo was a further innovation and a challenge to manufacture by incorporating it into the jacquard design. This creative solution was part of a complex remit to incorporate Nike design filters and market research to reinvigorate the large scale branding of the shirt. The statement top was worn by Nike’s marque sponsored football players in the high profile ‘Take it to the next level’ T90 II laser global campaign. Nike also created exclusive online content for Wayne Rooney called “What Wayne Knows”, this was a special release for the buildup to the UEFA Champions League™ 2008 final, which Rooney won when Manchester United were crowned champions of Europe.
